I just wanted to drop you a note to say thank you. Just in case you ever sit and wonder if you are making a difference I'm taking the time to tell you that you do.

I left the vet tonight feeling sick to my stomache when I got the news that Beauty needs $1600 surgery. A sum that you know for me is astronomical. I have been so proud the last 3 months that I have not gone into my over draft and was thinking how will I manage? As I drove home I was thinking about how if I just have faith it will be alright and my fear started to subside. I don't have to loose my dog due to lack of funds. I checked my chequing account and yes my morgage and fuel bill will be covered without going negative and then I checked my manulife account and there is $1400 so her surgery will be paid for. Although I know this is a bump that I will have to "manage" for some months to come in order to keep out of the negative for tonight I will sleep well knowing that all is well.

So thank you for giving me the gift of Beauty's little life.
